Getting Started as an Educator
Welcome to Essential Assessment! This article provides you with key information to begin your journey with EA.
Login Information
To log into your account, head to the Essential Assessment website and click Educator Login.
From here, you will be prompted to enter your email address.
Once you have logged in, click ONLINE ASSESSMENT to access the classes page.
If you haven't been set up yet, any teacher with an account at your school is able to do so.
Creating your Class and Adding Students to the Platform
Once you are viewing your classes page, you can create your own class. You can do this by using our bulk upload template or manual uploading. To access the template select Upload New Students:
Then, simply select Download Template, fill it out, and upload it back into the platform:
Alternatively, you can manually upload students by selecting Add Class:

Now that we've added our students to the platform, let's set an assessment for them!
