To support your teaching of the DoE Units of Work and in response to educator feedback, we have created Mathematics and English assessments aligned to the K-6 DoE Units of Work to help develop a culture of continuous learning and growth. These utilise new question content developed by our Content team.
About the project
We’re thrilled to be supporting NSW Educators by creating assessments aligned with K-6 single-stage DoE Units of work for Mathematics and English.
What's available and what's coming?
On platform, we have Pre and Post assessments for Mathematics K-6 and English K-6 terms 1-4.
We have recently updated our Units of Work assessments for Mathematics to align with the revised units released at the end of 2025. This is available across the K-6 assessments for mathematics.
What functionality is included?
The DoE Units of Work Pre and Post assessments provide schools with the capability to customise units aligned to your school needs. Customisation includes:
The capability to remove indicators from Units
The flexibility to merge one or both assessments from the same term across a single or multiple stages
Generate paper-based assessments for Mathematics
Please note, the DoE Units are not Dynamic assessments.
