The new Markbook brings all your student results together in one easy view. Instantly access assessment data and track progress across all assessments to see what your students have completed and what’s still to come. You can filter by strand, identify gaps, and export data to Excel for reporting. Designed for flexibility, the Markbook gives you a complete, real-time picture of student learning, all in one place.

Accessing the Markbook

From the homepage, click on your class
Then select Markbook

Layout and Features

Each row represents a student, and each column represents an assessment.

At a glance, you can:

View results across topics, strands, or custom Flexi assessments
Identify missing or incomplete results
Sort and filter by name, topic, or curriculum level

Filtering and sorting

Use the Filter/Sort menu to customise what you see:

Filter by Subject, Strand and Assessment Type
Use the filters to quickly view student progress filter by status (Not Assigned, Not Started, In Progress, or Submitted)
Sort students results in ascending, descending, or alphabetical order to easily track where each student is up to
See results as percentage or level

Exporting data

You can export results to streamline reporting:

Export to XLSX for further analysis or reporting
The exported file will include data as per what is displayed on the Markbook (applied filters) at the time of the export.

Regularly check for missing results to maintain complete data sets.
Use filters to review performance by topic or cohort.
Combine Markbook insights with Student Profiles for a full picture of growth.
