I have turned off Dynamic; why is it still appearing in my students' assessments?

Essential Assessment prioritises the ON option. If you have students in multiple classes, and Dynamic is switched on in one class and off in your class, Dynamic will still be on for your students.

If you would like your students to sit their assessment without Dynamic on, you will need to switch it off in the other class, too.

Once your students have started an assessment, any options that you change will not impact the assessment. If the other class needs to have Dynamic on for their upcoming assessments, you can go back and switch it back on once your students have started their assessments.

I have switched off features for My Spelling, but they are still appearing for students

Very similar to Dynamic, this is likely due to students being in multiple classes. However, you will need to ensure that all the My Spelling features you don't want enabled are toggled to IS OFF even if My Spelling has been turned off overall.

To ensure this has been done, click into the other class your students are in, ensure My Spelling is off, and then click into Class Overview.

Switch the toggles to IS OFF for the features you don't want your students to see.

I have assigned My Numeracy/My Literacy activities, but my students cannot see them

My Numeracy and My Literacy activities are tied to assessments. You will need to ensure that the assessment the activity is tied to is switched to SET under Manage Class Assessments:

If you don't want your students to see the assessment it is tied to, you will need to switch the Assessment toggle to IS OFF under Assessment Options:

I have enabled a Flexi assessment, but it has not assigned to all students

If you have assigned a Flexi assessment and some students have No Assessment Selected next to their names, you will have to re-add the assessment to the class. First, click Manage Class Assessments and then click the pencil icon.

Click REMOVE next to the Flexi assessment.

Click back into Manage Class Assessments and then click the + icon.

Click Add/Preview/Edit Flexi Assessment From School Bank and locate the Flexi assessment.

Click the + icon to add the Flexi assessment back into Manage Class Assessments.

Click back into Manage Class Assessments and click the underlined Flexi assessment you re-added, and then this should be assigned to all students.

The assessments in the class overview are different for some students. How can I change this to show the same assessment?

When a teacher clicks into an individual student and clicks Manage Student Assessment, this will change the assessment viewable on the class overview screen for the student. An example of what this looks like is below:

To change the class overview page so that you see the same assessment for all students, you will need to click on Manage Class Assessments. From here, click the underlined assessment you would like to view:

You will then be able to see the same assessment for all students:

My students completed an assessment, but the results are missing

With the Australian Curriculum and the NSW Syllabus, you can access V8.4 and New V9 for AC and the Current Syllabus and the New Syllabus for NSW. Due to this, some assessments can be enabled and completed in the incorrect curriculum. We recommend looking at both curriculums to see if you can locate the results.

Click into the class and click Manage Class Assessments.

From here, click on each curriculum.
