Assigning videos to the Learning Library

You're able to assign videos to your students' Learning Libraries that will assist them with skills they will need to complete their activities.

The Learning Library is currently only available for the Previous NSW Syllabus, Australian Curriculum V8.4, and Victorian Curriculum 1.0.

Videos that are assigned in the Learning Library are available for all students in the class. If you would like individual students to access the videos, they will need to watch these via their My Numeracy activities rather than direct through the Learning Library. More information on My Numeracy activities can be located here.

To assign videos to the Learning Library, click into your class and then click View Class Results.

From here, click Learning Library.

Click the + icon to assign the videos.

Filter through the year levels at the top. Click the + icon on a video to add it to the library. Once you are happy with your selection and viewing order, click Save.

You will then be able to see the videos that have been assigned in the initial Learning Library screen.

Once your students have started watching the videos, you will be able to see the progress they have made with viewing the video. If they have a flag icon on the yellow bar, they have watched this video the whole way through. If the bar is partially coloured yellow, you will see where the student got up to with the video. Click Reset playtime if you would like to reset the video for the students to watch from the start.

If you would like the Learning Library to be targeted to a particular group of students in the class, you can direct just those students to open the Learning Library for that day, for example, during a group rotation. Once those students have viewed the videos, you can then clear and reset for a new target group or whole class playlist.

The Learning Library is still under development for new curriculums. You can utilise the Learning Library for the Previous Syllabus (NSW), Victorian Curriculum 1.0, or Australian Curriculum V8.4 in the meantime.
