Using Learning Apps as a Student

Click the game controller to access the Learning Apps. From here, you can choose from a Learning App that has been enabled by your teacher.

• My Spelling

Sunset Maths

The object of the game is to try and answer the question before the sun sets. This timed challenge improves your speed and skills in answering mental mathematical questions.

Once you have clicked on Sunset Maths, you will see the operations that have been enabled by your teacher. Click the operation to begin. Click the star icon to see which levels within an operation you have completed.

Click the + icon to begin.

Enter your answer in the blank box. Each time you get an answer correct, the sun will show yellow rays of sunlight. For each answer you get incorrect, the sun will show red rays of sunlight and will set.

Jetpack Algebra

Once you have clicked into Jetpack Algebra, click GO.

Enter your answer in the blank box. Each time you get an answer correct, your jetpack will gain fuel and boost you up. For each answer you get incorrect, your jetpack will lower you down. You will need to achieve ten answers in a row to Jetpack to the next Level.

My Spelling

With My Spelling, your teacher can enable the following:

• Play - When you click PLAY, you will be able to choose a land to make a new animal friend. You will need to unjumble the letters to make a word. Once you have got each word correct, you will make your new animal friend.
• Assess - ASSESS tests your listening skills. You will be asked to spell a word, and you will then need to type the word in the blank space.
• Learn - LEARN will show you the word first. After a couple of seconds, the word with scramble, and you will need to unjumble the letters to create the word.
• Practise - With PRACTISE, you will be shown words that have missing letters. You will need to fill in the blanks with the correct letters.
• Find - FIND functions as a crossword. Choose from EASY, MEDIUM, or HARD to begin.
